What parents should know |
At Moppets, it is our mission to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for your children. We ask that you as parents keep in mind a few things as well... |
| |
Health |
• If your child is feeling under the weather or running a temperature, please keep them at home and give them ample time to recover before sending them back to school. As we all know, the sniffles (or worse) can travel quickly from child to child and even adults despite good hygiene care. |
| • If your child contracts a contagious disease, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may let other parents become aware of it as well. |
• A health form will be sent upon receipt of your enrollment. All children must have the proper immunization before he/she can begin school. This must be done prior to school opening.
State Health Department requirements prohibit us from allowing a child who is not properly immunized from attending classes. |
Essentials for school |
Play clothes that allow freedom of movement should be worn to school. Sneakers are required as we do many activities that may cause other types of soles to slip. Your child will also need a long sleeved paint shirt (these can be purchased from Sandy Miller – 675-4262 or email) and a backpack (13”x19”) to carry home materials. |
| During the year, you may be asked to contribute a box of tissues, a box of baggies, and a roll of paper towels. These are used for runny noses, project coverings, placemats, and any spills that may occur during Moppet activities. |
