Moppets was started by a group of teachers in October 1970 as a traditional pre-school, emphasizing kindergarten readiness, academics and socialization in a fun learning environment. |
Our classrooms offer a variety of age-appropriate materials and activities that encourage curiosity, exploration and problem solving.
Moppets' schedule provides opportunities for self selected play, large group activities and small/large muscle development. |
Teachers at Moppets provide physical and emotional security and help each child to take pride in himself or herself and develop a sense of independence.
Curriculum includes seasonal themes, holidays, basic concepts, body awareness, nature and cooking experiences. |
